Kaisahan’s Mission & Activities

Kaisahan promotes cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of Filipino culture. Each performance instills a deep appreciation for the Filipino cultural heritage among its audiences and performers alike. By educating as it entertains, Kaisahan fosters unity and harmony in the communities it touches. Its mission is accomplished by:

* developing and performing authentic Filipino dances;
* promoting pride among the Filipino community in the beauty and riches of Filipino dance and music;
* serving as a vehicle for contemporary and traditional performances by established and emerging performers;
* providing classes for the youth and adults of all ethnic backgrounds in the traditional Filipino dance and music;
* providing lectures, demonstrations or performances for corporations, schools, festivals and community events.
